The Nordvest quarter of Copenhagen is a melting pot of backgrounds, nationalities, and beliefs. People are drawn here from all over the world to take part in a modern and progressive Danish culture—one that offers stability and the chance at a better life.
And with that beautiful diversity comes a host of needs that are as unique as the individuals themselves.
For well over a decade now, KATSJ has served the children and families of Nordvest out of our headquarters in Nørrebro. We work hard to create connections and offer services that help meet their physical, emotional, mental, material, and spiritual needs.
KATSJ is a member- and volunteer-driven organization.
KATSJ Children’s Association is a Copenhagen-based family organization located in the heart of Nordvest. Our aim is to serve and nurture integration, creativity, reflection, and community among local children ages 0-12. Our mission and programs are framed by a Christian worldview as we believe a child’s well-being is spiritual as well as physical, mental, and social.
