Bringing parents and newborns together through the power of song
Baby Salmesang taps into the incredible power of music and song to help new parents connect with their babies—and with other local parents.
Attendees will experience a warm, welcoming environment where they are encouraged to interact with their newborn or toddler in fun and unique ways, such as exercising their rhythm, exploring new dance movements, or raising their voice in song.
Once the session is over, you are invited to Cafe Kant for some coffee, a snack, and a chance to socialize with other parents.
Parents with other pre-school children are welcome to bring them along. An area will be available for them to play quietly during the session.
Baby Salmesang is run by renowned Danish singers and siblings, Sabina Mathew Lindberg & Rebecca Kaastrup-Mathew. Sabina Mathew Lindberg has a passion for children and music, as well as decades of experience as a professional singer—touring internationally as a solo artist and in several bands. She currently leads and conducts the Copenhagen Gospel Choir.
Baby Salmesang takes place on Fridays from 9:30 – 11:30 am at the Lygten Børnehave on Drejervej 15, Nørrebro.
