KATSJ Children’s Association is a Copenhagen-based family organization located in the heart of Nordvest. Our aim is to serve and nurture integration, creativity, reflection, and community among local children ages 0-12. Our mission and programs are framed by a Christian worldview as we believe a child’s well-being is spiritual as well as physical, mental, and social.
Inclusion is close to our heart, and we welcome children of any race, religion, culture, or creed to be part of KATSJ.
We provide a secure and stable environment and activities that help children explore and develop their social and creative skills while building relationships across socio-economic status and cultures. Our committed and trained team of adult volunteers strives to create openness and dialog among KATSJ attendees, so the kids can feel comfortable asking any question or get help navigating life situations.
KATSJ proudly partners with other local organizations to accomplish our mission, including Ung Mosaik, Kirken i Kulturcenteret, Cafe Kant, and Feriecamp. More importantly, KATSJ views parents as key partners and welcomes them to participate in any and all activities.
Our activities include:
- Children’s Church
- Friends and Family
- KATSJ Online
- Family Conferences
- Summer and holiday celebrations
